Role Overview

Operational Security Engineer

Security team

Key Responsibilities

Cloud & Container Security

• Implement and manage secure containerization strategies using

  Docker / Kubernetes

  .
• Design secure cloud image management and monitor cloud configurations (AWS / Azure / GCP).
  

Network & System Security

• Design and implement

  secure network architectures

  , firewalls, WAFs, VPNs, and intrusion controls.
• Lead vulnerability identification, patch management, and compliance tracking.
  

Application Security / DevSecOps

• Integrate

  SAST, DAST, SCA

  and secure SDLC practices into CI/CD pipelines.
• Perform threat modeling and assist development teams in secure coding.
  

Compliance & Governance

• Ensure adherence to

  ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA

  and APAC regulatory standards (HKMA, MAS).
• Support audit readiness and cybersecurity risk assessments.
  

Cybersecurity Operations

• Handle

  SIEM, DLP, incident response, and risk treatment

  processes.
• Coordinate with global WM CISO and security teams across regions.
  

Required Skills & Expertise

• Cloud Security:

  AWS / Azure / GCP, Docker, Kubernetes, Container Security.

• Network Security:

  Firewalls, WAF, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDoS, VPN.

• Vulnerability Management:

  Rapid7, Qualys, Tanium, Patch Management.

• Application Security:

  Secure SDLC, DevSecOps, SAST/DAST/SCA, Threat Modeling.

• Frameworks & Compliance:

  ISO 27001, NIST, CIS, GDPR, PCI-DSS, HIPAA.

• Tools:

  SIEM (Splunk / QRadar), DLP, CSIRT.

• Banking Domain Knowledge:

  Wealth Management / Financial Services experience preferred.

Certifications (Preferred)

• CISSP | CISM | CISA | CEH | CHFI | SANS Certification | ISO 27001 Lead Auditor

Education
