Operational Risk Control Testing experience For FTC- 6 Months- Mumbai

Role & responsibilities

• Assist clients in identifying and evaluating business, operational, and technology risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities for internal control improvement
• Assist in the design, review, and enhancement of operational risk management frameworks, including risk identification, assessment, monitoring, and governance practices
• Support clients in conducting and reviewing Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSAs) to ensure appropriate identification of key risks, alignment to mitigating controls, and reasonable assessment of residual risk
• Provide independent review and challenge over risk assessments, control design, and control effectiveness, including selected IT General Controls (ITGCs) (e.g., access management, change management, system availability) from an operational risk perspective
• Assist in analyzing operational risk events, control failures, and recurring audit findings to identify root causes and opportunities for process and control improvement
• Support the development of risk dashboards, heat maps, key risk indicators (KRIs), and management reporting to facilitate effective risk oversight and decision-making
• Assist in the selection and tailoring of approaches, methods, and tools to support service offerings or industry projects
• Facilitate the use of technology-based tools or methodologies to review, design, and/or implement products and services
• Understand clients business environment, operating model, and risk management approaches, and apply this understanding in engagement delivery Project Management:
• Actively participate in decision making with engagement management and seek to understand the broader impact of current decisions
• Play substantive/lead role and engagement planning, economics, and billing
• Generate innovative ideas and challenge the status quo
• Participate in proposal development efforts and support “add-on” sales to existing clients
• Identify opportunities to cross-sell other services
• Build and nurture positive working relationships with clients with the intention to exceed client expectations
• Develop membership and visibility in professional and civic organizations, as appropriate
