Operational Risk Analyst

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operational Risk Analyst located in the Kolkata / Mumbai. Responsibilities include identifying, assessing, and monitoring operational risks, ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks, and supporting enterprise risk management initiatives. As a team member, you would be responsible for supporting the Bank's Operational Risk Management (ORM) team to manage the ORM platform. Any previous experience in finance, banking or technology would be an added advantage.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Work with the IT risk management team responsible for managing smooth working of the ORM platform
• Work in collaboration with IT risk management team and the business users
• Ensure satisfactory and timely closure of production issues of both functional and technical nature
• Manage deployment across all ORM environments with help of Bank infra team
• Responsible for release management process including coordination with IT and vendors for upgrades, integrations and issue resolution
• Manage DR and patching activities in coordination with implementation and infra team
• Collaborate with business partners, third-party vendors and technology groups
• Maintain project compliance standards
• Ensure platform data integrity and maintain system documentation
• Provide training and user support to enhance adoption and system utilisation
• Support audit, regulatory reviews, and internal governance processes

Experience/ Skillset/ Ceritifcations Required:

• 2-5 years experience and operational risk management or risk systems administration (banking/ financial services)
• Engineering/ Management Graduates/ CA from premier Institutes
• Working knowledge of SQL scripts
• Should be able to understand regulatory guidelines
• Should have understanding of SDLC process
• Excellent verbal and written communication along with presentation skills along with stakeholder management skills
• Should be analytical detail oriented and tech savy
• Should be a self starter with solution mindset
• Knowledge of ServiceNow or any other ORM platform is preferred
