Operations Lead About the Role: We're seeking a skilled IAM Specialist to lead a critical migration of applications from Okta Workforce to Microsoft Entra ID. This role offers a unique blend of project execution and ongoing operational leadership. Initially, you'll own the migration process. Following the successful transition, you'll shift into an Operations Lead capacity, ensuring smooth production support and collaborating with development and infrastructure teams to resolve any issues. Responsibilities: Migration Phase: Lead the migration of applications from Okta Workforce to Microsoft Entra ID. Partner with application stakeholders to define requirements and ensure a seamless transition. Develop and maintain detailed migration plans, schedules, and documentation. Proactively identify and mitigate migration challenges. Provide post-migration support to guarantee application performance and stability. • Operations Lead Phase (post-migration): Oversee operational activities during IST hours, ensuring continuous monitoring and support. Collaborate with developers and infrastructure engineers to address and resolve production issues. Stay current with IAM technologies and best practices. Leverage system analyst skills to review and improve existing system architecture. Utilize business analyst skills to gather and document business requirements, aligning them with organizational objectives. Maintain a deep understanding of application architecture, including SaaS application architecture , databases, APIs, infrastructure, and other key components. Ensure effective integration and management within cloud environments (Microsoft Entra, Azure, and AWS). Utilize log management and application performance monitoring (APM) tools to proactively identify and resolve issues. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. Proven experience in IAM, specifically with Okta and Microsoft Entra ID. Solid understanding of authentication and authorization protocols. Demonstrated success in production support and issue resolution. Ability to lead operational activities during IST hours. Experience as a system analyst, including understanding system architecture and design. Business analyst experience, including requirements gathering and documentation. Ability to collaborate effectively with application developers and infrastructure engineers. Strong understanding of application architecture, including SaaS application architecture , databases, APIs, and infrastructure. Proficiency with Microsoft Entra, Azure, and AWS. Experience with log management and APM tools (e.g., Splunk, ELK, Datadog, New Relic). Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
