Operational BCM Partner, AVP

Role Overview: As an Operational BCM Partner at Deutsche Bank in Bangalore, India, you will be responsible for defining and maintaining the CB IB Operations & Control BCM operational structure globally. You will play a crucial role in ensuring sufficient and adequate resources are provided for the recovery capabilities required in the region. Additionally, you will support the Unit during a disruption and provide guidance, support, and training to Business Continuity Coordinators and Accountable Managers. Key Responsibilities: - Define and maintain CB IB Operations & Control BCM operational structure. - Understand and assess the Inherent and Residual Risk for the Unit, particularly breaches of Risk Appetite as relevant for their respective region. - Confirm sufficient resources for recovery capabilities or escalate relevant gaps. - Approve suitable Business Continuity Coordinators (BCCs) and Accountable Managers (AMs) for each Recovery Unit (RU) within the regional structure. - Cascade BCM-related communication across the area of responsibility. - Support the Unit during a disruption and provide guidance and training to BCCs and AMs. Qualifications Required: - Overall experience of 6-8 years with at least 5 years in a similar role demonstrating a proactive and well-organized approach to problem-solving in a BCM environment. - Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. - Experience in running calls with senior management and assisting in prioritization. - Proficiency in Excel for creating reports, basic statistical understanding, and data mining approaches. - Ability to manage project progress, adapt work as required, optimize processes, and improve the overall approach.
