Operation Theater Technician

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Operation Theater Technician located in Ahmedabad. The responsibilities include preparing and maintaining the operation theater and its equipment to ensure a sterile and safe environment for surgeries. Additional tasks involve arranging surgical instruments, assisting surgeons during procedures, and ensuring proper storage and sterilization of equipment after use. The technician will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure adherence to protocols and patient safety standards.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in technical production processes, including the maintenance and operation of surgical equipment.
• Basic knowledge of lighting setup and adjustment for appropriate visibility during medical procedures.
• Strong customer service skills to assist patients and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Understanding of procedures and workflows in the medical or performing arts context.
• Attention to detail, ability to follow strict safety protocols, and adaptability in high-pressure environments.
• Completion of a certified Operation Theater Technician course or diploma, and prior work experience in a similar role is preferred.
