Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Operations Executive with expertise in Air Freight and Ocean Freight operations. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Dangerous Goods (DG) qualification and possess excellent communication skills in both English and Malayalam.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle day-to-day Air Freight and Ocean Freight operations including booking, documentation, and coordination with carriers, agents, and customers.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of shipments in line with company standards and customer requirements.
• Manage DG cargo handling as per IATA/IMO regulations and ensure compliance with all safety and legal requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth movement of cargo.
• Prepare and verify shipping documentation including invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and airway bills.
• Provide updates to customers on shipment status and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Maintain strong working relationships with airlines, shipping lines, and other logistics partners.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Graduate in any discipline (preferably in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field).
• Minimum [5-7 years] of experience in Freight Forwarding/Logistics (Air & Ocean operations).
• Valid DG Qualification & Certificate (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of freight documentation, customs processes, and compliance regulations.
• Fluency in English and Malayalam (spoken and written).
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure.
• Proficiency in MS Office and freight management systems is an added advantage.
