OpenText Consultant

As an experienced OpenText Subject Matter Expert (SME), your role will involve providing technical leadership, strategic guidance, and hands-on expertise in managing and implementing OpenText-based solutions. You will play a critical role in designing, integrating, and optimizing OpenText platforms in alignment with enterprise architecture and business requirements. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as the go-to expert for OpenText solutions such as B2B Managed Services, Trading Grid, VIM, Content Suite, InfoArchive, and Exstream. - Evaluate existing EDI/B2B architecture and propose optimization/migration strategies. - Configure, deploy, and support OpenText components and connectors. - Provide in-depth troubleshooting for OpenText-related issues, including performance, integrations, and data flows. - Design scalable and maintainable OpenText solutions aligned with business needs. - Integrate OpenText systems with ERP platforms like SAP, Oracle, or Salesforce. - Define best practices for document management, metadata modeling, workflows, and records retention. - Lead or support migration projects and perform data mapping, transformation, and testing. - Collaborate with stakeholders, gather requirements, provide estimations, timelines, and documentation. - Ensure implementations adhere to compliance, security, and regulatory standards. - Establish documentation for solution architectures, workflows, SOPs, and audit logs. Required Skills & Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. - 7+ years of hands-on experience with OpenText products and technologies. - Deep knowledge of EDI/B2B standards, AS2, FTP, SFTP protocols. - Experience with OpenText Trading Grid and Managed Services. - Proficiency in XML, XSLT, JSON, Web Services (SOAP/REST). - Strong understanding of system integrations with SAP, Oracle, or other ERP systems. - Familiarity with integration platforms like MuleSoft, Dell Boomi, or SAP PI/PO. - Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Certifications: - OpenText Certified Consultant or Specialist. - ITIL or TOGAF certification is a plus. Nice to Have: - Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP). - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies. - Previous experience in highly regulated industries such as healthcare, finance, or manufacturing.,
