OpenStack Engineer

As an OpenStack Engineer at Silvereye IT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., located in Delhi NCR, you will be an integral part of our cloud infrastructure team. With at least 4 years of relevant OpenStack experience, immediate joiners are preferred for this role. Your primary responsibilities will include deploying, configuring, and maintaining various OpenStack components such as Nova, Neutron, Cinder, Swift, and Horizon. You will also be managing and troubleshooting storage systems, particularly Ceph, while automating infrastructure deployment and operations using tools like Ansible, Terraform, and scripting languages like Bash and Python. In addition, you will be implementing and supporting high-availability (HA) solutions, disaster recovery (DR) strategies, and performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and performance tuning of OpenStack environments. Ensuring cloud security, access control, and compliance policies, collaborating with L3 support and development teams, and documenting solutions and configurations will also be part of your responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should have a strong understanding of OpenStack architecture and core components, experience with Ceph storage, familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration platforms, knowledge of Linux systems administration, automation and configuration tools, scripting skills in Bash or Python, understanding of networking concepts, and exposure to cloud security best practices. Preferred certifications for this role include Red Hat Certified Engineer (RHCE), Certified OpenStack Administrator (COA), and Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or similar certifications.
