OpenStack Engineer

As an OpenStack Administrator, your role will involve managing large-scale production environments and performing routine maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting in complex cloud infrastructures. You should have hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes, and OpenShift. Key Responsibilities: - Manage OpenStack infrastructure in production - Perform Linux system administration tasks, with a preference for RHEL/CentOS - Utilize Kubernetes and OpenShift for infrastructure management - Utilize system monitoring, log management, and troubleshooting tools - Work with Red Hat support, manage escalations, and communicate effectively with internal teams and external clients - Demonstrate excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure - Communicate technical issues clearly to clients - Work in and manage large-scale production environments Qualifications Required: - Proven experience in managing OpenStack infrastructure in production - Strong proficiency in Linux system administration, preferably RHEL/CentOS - Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and OpenShift - Familiarity with system monitoring, log management, and troubleshooting tools - Experience with managing cases and following up on resolutions in the RH support portal - OpenStack certification is preferred In addition to the above details, the job also requires familiarity with RH support portal, managing cases, and following up on resolutions.,
