You will be a valuable member of our IT team as an OpenShift Administrator, where your primary responsibility will be to deploy, manage, and maintain Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform environments. Your expertise will ensure the performance, availability, and scalability of these environments. You will work closely with development, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to optimize Kubernetes workloads and improve CI/CD processes. Your key responsibilities will include installing, configuring, and maintaining the Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform. You will be managing Kubernetes clusters, nodes, and workloads, as well as integrating OpenShift with CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and logging tools. Cluster security, performance, and availability will also be under your purview. Automation of processes using scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or tools like Ansible will be essential. Collaboration with DevOps and development teams for containerized application deployments will be a crucial aspect of your role. To excel in this position, you should possess at least 5 years of experience in OpenShift/Kubernetes administration. Proficiency in Linux (RHEL/CentOS), Docker, and CI/CD tools like Jenkins and GitLab is required. Knowledge of networking, monitoring tools such as Prometheus and Grafana, and scripting languages is also necessary. A Red Hat OpenShift certification would be considered a strong advantage.
