Job Description

As an Openshift Administrator, your role will involve managing Redhat Openshift environment effectively. You will be responsible for the installation and upgrade of Openshift using both manual and automated approaches. Additionally, you will play a key role in the migration and transition of Redhat Openshift infrastructure. Key Responsibilities: - Maintain and develop Docker images/containers for different technology stack - Work on Large/Super cluster (Andromeda) environments - Design and build IaC pipelines using Terraform and Jenkins - Enhance platform stability as an SRE by performing proactive fixes and documenting root cause analysis and emergency response - Utilize monitoring tools like Prometheus and/or Logic Monitor to suggest and enable monitoring for a 360-degree health status of the system - Implement automation and configuration management frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc. - Automate the build of containerized systems with CI/CD tooling, Helm charts, and more - Manage deployments and rollbacks of applications effectively - Maintain container registry and certificates - Implement Security & Hardening under O&M guidelines and suggest best security policies implementation - Manage Ingress/DNS, Storage Classes, and Helm Catalog in Openshift environments - Troubleshoot issues via available system logs Qualifications Required: - 20+ clusters experience with L4 support in Openshift - Good hands-on experience in Openshift Architecture, Installation, Upgrades, Operators, ACM/ACS, and Automation - Experience with virtualization and cloud technologies such as VMWare, RHEVM, AWS/GCP In addition to the technical responsibilities outlined above, your expertise and experience in Openshift administration will be crucial for the successful operation of the infrastructure.,
