JOB PURPOSE

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to lead our mechanical engineering efforts in the development of advanced autonomous systems including UAVs, UGVs, USVs, and robotic platforms.

The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in mechanical engineering, excellent design proficiency in CATIA V6 (with M3S Role), and deep experience in plastic part design for injection moulding.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role that combines project ownership, team management, and individual contributor responsibilities. You will drive the design, development, optimization, and release of mechanical subsystems, ensuring performance, manufacturability, and integration across multidisciplinary platforms.

DUTIES

1.

UAVs / UGVs / USVs, robotics, and electromechanical assemblies using CATIA V6 M3S Role,

focusing on functional performance, weight optimization, ruggedization, and integration with

electronics and structural elements.

2.

injection moulding best practices considering draft angles, ribs, snap-fits, bosses, undercuts,

gating, sink marks, ejection, and DFM. Collaborate with tool makers and vendors to ensure

production-readiness.

validate mechanical designs using FEA/CFD. Ensure components meet strength, vibration, and

thermal performance requirements.

team members, review their work, and guide them in design decisions. Maintain accountability

for timelines and quality of deliverables.

Qualification

Bachelors/Masters degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, materials engineering, or similar degree, or a comparable combination of education and applicable experience.
