Job Description

Qualification:

- Any Graduates (Preferably B. Pharma, B.Sc.)/D. Pharma

Experience:

- Overall 12-15 Years, Min. 2 years of experience as a Third line manager

Key responsibilities:

1. To ensure 100% of zonal Sales Target month after month by organizing the efforts of team i.e. RSMs/AMs/Reps/MEs etc.

2. To develop RSMs/AMs/BEs in their present jobs as well as equip them to assume greater managerial responsibilities.

3. To study and analyse the market data provided by HO, and basis that assist the team RSMs/ AMs in preparing their action Plan

4. To design and ensure implementation of Action Plan.

5. To assign challenging but achievable objectives to RSMs/ AMs.

6. To review reports on sales and activities and compare them with the planned activities to ensure achievements of results.

7. To make frequent and regular trips on a planned basis to the RSMs/ AMs territory for counselling and guiding them.

8. To plan and conduct periodic sales meetings with the purpose of educating, training and motivating field personnel in the zone.

9. To ensure vacancy of the zone should be timely filled and adequate manning should be maintained at any given time.

10. To control expenses and costs within the zone, approve expenses of the team and aid in building/operating budgets and functioning within them.

11. To see that all authorized policies, program and instructions are put in effect and carried out in all field territories.

12. To review the team reports and to counsel, assist and direct them as required.

13. To report to NSM/ Division Head, every month, on zonal achievement of sales, sales trend and competitors activities within the Zone.

14. To coordinate with marketing team regularly and ensure proper implementation of the marketing strategies and also update them of competitors information and activities.

  • Provide market intelligence data on market conditions and effectiveness of promotional strategy of companys products as well as that of competitors to the line managers and the marketing team.

  • Manage the attrition within the team and ensure that the talent is retained.
