Description
Role & responsibilities Lead the testing efforts for internet banking and mobile banking modules. Act as SME in digital banking, guiding team members and stakeholders on business flows, domain intricacies, and best practices. Define test strategies , plans , and schedules aligned with project timelines. Review and approve test cases , test scenarios , and test scripts prepared by team members. Conduct system, integration, regression, UAT, and production support testing . Validate end-to-end functionalities including login, fund transfers (NEFT, IMPS, RTGS), bill payments, profile management, transaction history, and device authentication. Lead API testing and integration testing with backend systems (e.g., CBS, Payment Gateway). Coordinate with developers, product owners, business analysts, and DevOps teams. Track and manage defects using tools like JIRA , QC/ALM , or equivalent. Support automation initiatives and help implement test automation for web and mobile platforms. Provide leadership in ensuring security, compliance, and regulatory adherence in test scenarios. Prepare and present test reports, metrics, and risk assessments to stakeholders and management. Preferred candidate profile 7+ years of experience in digital banking testing , with at least 23 years in a lead or SME capacity . Deep understanding of internet banking and mobile banking workflows. Proficient in functional , regression , API , and UI/UX testing. Experience with mobile testing tools: Appium , BrowserStack , Android Studio , Xcode . Strong knowledge of API tools (Postman, REST Assured) and SQL . Familiar with Agile /Scrum practices and tools. Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills. Good to Have Exposure to core banking platforms like Finacle , Flexcube , or TCS BaNCS . Automation skills using Selenium , Appium , or similar frameworks. ISTQB Advanced Level or domain-specific certifications. Prior experience with UAT coordination , client interactions , or working in a BFSI consulting environment .
