Job Description

Calibration Laboratory Manager (QM/TM) QM + TM

Minimum 3 Years

Pune.

To ensure that management system is implemented and followed at all times.
To control the management system documentation and its changes.
To monitor and control management reviews and post management review activities.
To plan, organize record and analyze internal audits.
To report the internal / external audits to top management.
To follow up on timely closing of findings in the internal /external audits.
To monitor corrective & preventive actions.
To emphasize need of maintaining confidentiality.
To monitor and control training activities.
To maintain record pertaining to the management system.
To prepare and issue management system documentation and its changes.
To prepare & issue agenda and minutes of MRM.
To plan the internal audits.
To verify and close Nonconformance reports.
Liaising with the external parties on the matters pertaining to the management system.
Member of MRM.
Carry out the calibration activities as per the established calibration procedures.
Control of calibration and certification related activities.
To lay down policies & procedure on various aspects as per the requirements of International Standard ISO/IEC 17025 & NABL 129 for calibration laboratories.
Control of calibration of equipment.
Preventive maintenance of equipment.
Effectiveness in functioning of lab.
Estimation of uncertainty in measurement.
Control of calibration data.
Co-ordination of calibration related activities and provision of guidance as and when required.
Identification, monitoring & maintaining environmental conditions,
Planning day-to -day lab activities.
Controlling of records pertaining to the activities in technical department.
Ensuring adequate training of the personnel under control.
Reviewing the reports of internal / external audits & minutes of MRM to ensure timely completion of actions pertaining to the technical department.
To develop, modify and verification of calibration methods.
To Analyze the Results, including statement of conformity if require,
To Report, review and authorization of results and Calibration Certificates,
To assign lab technicians for calibration work,
To review the nonconforming calibration work
To conduct quality control checks and to initiate appropriate corrections / corrective actions in case of nonconforming calibration work / undesirable situations.
To initiate appropriate resolution / corrective / preventive actions in the case of complaints, to communicate with the customer as required,
To assess training imparted to the technical staff
