General Information :

The Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible for accurately and efficiently processing invoices and payments, ensuring timely payment to vendors, and maintaining organized financial records.

Your Key Responsibilities:

• Process and verify vendor invoices for accuracy and completeness.
• Reconcile vendor statements and payments to ensure accuracy.
• Enter invoices and credit memos into the accounting system.
• Respond to internal and external inquiries regarding invoice payment status / employee claims / Travel requests / Travel Advances.
• Maintain accurate and organized accounts payable records.
• Basic knowledge on Foreign currency transactions, Forex fluctuations.
• Assist with month-end closing procedures and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal departments to resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Ensure to deduct TDS promptly on Service invoices
• Co-ordinate with Finance Team for audits and month end closing activities, as and when assigned
• Custodian for Records and responsible to handle audit requirements 

Your Qualifications:

• M.Com. qualification
• 3+ years of working experience in SAP systems
• Proficiency in MS office Excel, Word is mandatory
• Familiarity with Financial regulations and accounting procedures
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Strong attention to details and accuracy in data entry
• Ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and problems.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
