About IndiTalks: IndiTalks is a unique mobile platform that connects learners with fluent speakers across India for 1-on-1 audio/video calls. Our mission is to help users learn Indian languages in an engaging and immersive way—through real-time conversations about culture, history, and daily life. We’re Looking For: Passionate individuals fluent in one or more Indian languages who love to teach, share their culture, and connect with learners. Whether you have prior teaching experience or are an enthusiastic conversationalist, your language skills and cultural knowledge will help learners improve fluency and understanding. Responsibilities: Conduct 1-on-1 audio/video sessions with learners through the IndiTalks app. Engage in friendly, structured, or casual conversations to support language practice. Share insights on regional culture, traditions, and history. Provide guidance on pronunciation, vocabulary, and everyday usage. Be punctual, polite, and responsive to learners. You Should Have: Fluency in at least one Indian language such as Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Punjabi, Marathi, Malayalam, Bhojpuri, etc. (For example: Hindi - "Namaste", Tamil - "Vanakkam", Marathi - "Namaskar") Basic proficiency in English to facilitate communication with learners. Patience, friendliness, and passion for language and cultural exchange. Comfort using a smartphone and conducting audio/video calls.
