Onboarding and Background Screening Lead

You will be responsible for managing the India employment contracts, MEA Onboarding, and Background Screening processes. As a subject matter expert on ONB and Background Screening processes and procedures, you will support internal and external audits and governance reviews. Your key responsibilities include: - Ensuring Background Screening of potential employees is performed in line with Deutsche Bank policy by performing quality reviews of all cases prior to sign off - Working closely with Deutsche Bank's 3rd party screening vendor to promptly and effectively deal with any issues/escalations - Liaising with VISA vendor for VISA and work permit of new hires - Ensuring all reporting requirements are met and delivered by agreed deadlines - Managing high volumes during peak season and ad hoc projects - Continually identifying, addressing, and delivering areas of improvements - Utilizing people management experience & previous experience in managing the managers (Team Managers) - Ability to manage large teams ranging from 10-15 individuals - Flexibility with shifts, considering the incumbent will manage India & MEA teams Your skills and experience should include: - Leadership skills essential to support and liaise with teams spread out across multiple geographical locations - Being a self-motivated individual with keen attention to details - Excellent team player who can fit in and positively contribute to the overall objective in a diverse team, both culturally and technically - Ability to think out-of-the-box to define innovative solutions to complicated problems - In-depth domain knowledge of HR analytic practices and data modeling - Workday or other similar HR ERP knowledge The company strives for a culture where employees are empowered to excel together every day, acting responsibly, thinking commercially, taking initiative, and working collaboratively.
