OMP Demand Supply Architect

As an Experienced OMP Demand & Supply Planning Architect, your role involves leading the design, implementation, and optimization of OMP's Unison Planning platform for supply chain planning processes. Your deep understanding of demand forecasting, supply planning, S&OP, and production scheduling will be crucial for this position. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the end-to-end architecture and design of the OMP solution for Demand and Supply Planning. - Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements, define planning processes, and translate them into system design. - Drive the implementation of modules such as Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Inventory Optimization, and S&OP. - Ensure seamless integration between OMP and SAP ERP (ECC / S/4HANA) system. - Define and maintain architectural standards, best practices, and governance for OMP implementations. - Guide and support development/configuration teams through implementation and testing. - Provide thought leadership and act as a trusted advisor to business and IT teams on OMP capabilities. - Support master data management, scenario planning, constraint-based modeling, and capacity planning. - Analyze performance, troubleshoot issues, and recommend system improvements. - Lead OMP upgrades, patching, and version management. Criteria and Qualifications: - Bachelor's or Masters degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field. - 18+ years of experience in supply chain planning, with 8+ years focused on OMP architecture and implementation. - Strong knowledge of OMP Unison Planning platform and modules. - Hands-on experience integrating OMP with SAP ECC/S4HANA or other ERP platforms. - Deep understanding of demand planning algorithms, statistical forecasting, and supply chain modeling. - Experience with data modeling, master data design, and configuration in OMP. - Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to communicate complex ideas clearly. - Strong project management and stakeholder engagement capabilities. Required Skills & Certification: - OMP Certified Professional or Architect (preferred but not mandatory). - Experience in global or multi-country supply chain planning environments. - Familiarity with cloud deployments (AWS, Azure) and SaaS-based planning tools. - Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodology.
