Job Title: Ointment Filling Operator Company: Lavanya Healthcare Limited Location: Khewat No. 359/310, Behra Road, Derabassi, Punjab Experience Required: 1-2 Years (Pharmaceutical Industry) Qualification: 12 Pass Industry: Pharmaceutical / Healthcare Employment Type: Full-Time Age limit: Not more than 35 years Role Description: Lavanya Healthcare Limited is seeking an experienced Ointment Filling Operator to handle the setup, operation, and monitoring of ointment filling lines in a cGMP-compliant environment. The ideal candidate will ensure the accurate and efficient filling of ointment tubes or containers while maintaining hygiene, quality, and production standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor ointment filling machines for tubes, jars, or containers as per batch requirements. Set up and adjust machine parameters such as fill volume, sealing temperature, and crimping. Ensure correct loading of bulk ointment material and proper alignment of packaging components. Conduct in-process checks for fill weight, sealing integrity, leakage, and labelling accuracy. Maintain cleanliness of equipment and surrounding area in compliance with GMP and hygiene standards. Perform line clearance and machine sanitization before and after each batch as per SOPs. Complete batch production records, equipment logs, and other required documentation. Troubleshoot minor machine issues and coordinate with maintenance for technical support. Follow safety guidelines and use appropriate PPE at all times. Report any deviations, discrepancies, or equipment malfunctions to the Production Supervisor. Assist with preventive maintenance and line changeovers as needed. Key Requirements: Familiarity with semi-automatic and automatic ointment filling machines. Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of pharmaceutical machinery. Awareness of hygiene and regulatory requirements in the pharma industry. Attention to detail with a focus on quality and consistency. Ability to follow written instructions and standard operating procedures.
