Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Provide first aid and emergency medical care to employees in case of workplace accidents or illnesses.
Assist the Factory Medical Officer in routine medical check-ups and treatment.
Maintain the first aid room and medical equipment in ready-to-use condition.
Accompany injured employees to hospitals when required.
Maintain and update health records, medical examination registers, and reports.
Support health surveillance programs for exposure to dust, noise, chemicals, etc.
Ensure compliance with the Factories Act and state factory rules regarding occupational health provisions.
Maintain statutory records such as Form 7, Form 32, accident register, etc.
Prepare and submit health-related reports to authorities and management as required.
Coordinate with hospitals, ambulance services, and local healthcare providers for emergency management.
Support HR and EHS departments in health and safety audits.
Assist in the procurement and inventory management of medical supplies and PPE.

Qualifications & Experience:

Education:
Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (GNM) / B.Sc. Nursing.
Registration:
Registered Nurse with State Nursing Council.
Experience:
0-2 years of experience in an industrial / occupational health setup preferred.
Certifications:
Industrial Health / First Aid certification (preferred).

Key Skills:

Strong first-aid and emergency response skills.
Knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations.
Good communication and record-keeping ability.
Empathy and professionalism in dealing with employees.

Work Conditions:

Based at the factory site.
