Offshore Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer at our company, you will be responsible for designing and analyzing offshore structures such as topside and jackets. Your role will involve performing structural calculations, conducting feasibility studies, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions for offshore engineering challenges. Additionally, you will be reviewing engineering drawings, conducting site visits and inspections, and providing technical input for offshore projects. Key Responsibilities: - Design and analyze offshore structures such as topside and jackets - Perform Pre-service and In-service analyses on topside and jacket structures - Conduct feasibility studies and provide technical input for offshore projects - Ensure the integrity and safety of offshore structures through structural calculations - Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop innovative solutions - Review and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and codes - Conduct site visits and inspections to assess offshore structures - Identify anomalies from structural inspection reports and provide engineering repair recommendations - Develop and maintain technical documentation including design reports, drawings, and specifications - Participate in project meetings and provide technical guidance to project teams - Assist in the preparation of project proposals including cost estimates and schedules - Train and mentor junior team members by creating training material and conducting training sessions Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in civil/structural engineering, Master's degree in structural engineering preferred - 5+ years of relevant experience in offshore oil and gas projects - Hands-on experience in developing and analyzing steel and reinforced concrete structures using software like STAAD Pro, SACS, and Mathcad - Knowledge of FEA software such as Ansys and Abaqus is an added advantage - Experience in developing design calculation sheets for reinforced concrete and steel structures - Proficiency in Excel and other MS applications - Fluent in English with excellent written and oral communication skills - Good interpersonal skills with a proactive attitude and positive thinking - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills - Self-motivated with excellent work ethics - Expertise in MS Excel and Office applications,
