As an Operations employee at Standard Chartered in Chennai, IN, your role involves performing all input & maintenance of limits loaded in various TP systems to deliver excellent service against agreed service standards, delivery standards, and minimal error rates appropriate for Ops CRC CCIB. You will act as a service partner, collaborating with RMs, in-country Client Management, Operations, and other key internal stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. Your responsibilities include ensuring adherence to DOIs, driving continuous improvement in operational efficiency, providing limit maintenance support for Corporate, Commercial & Institutional Banking (CCIB) and Corporate Private Business Banking (CPBB) clients, and effectively managing risks and compliance matters. Key Responsibilities: - Ensure pre-processing activities are carried out as per guidelines - Accurately input fee draw-down, interest, fee, margin, and commission - Load facilities with complementary limits in transaction processing systems correctly - Update activated limits in CMS - Accurately calculate drawing power, insurance coverage, and security coverage - Timely escalation of exceptions to Senior Management - Monitor, diarize, and generate reports as per agreed terms - Ensure correct entries to Customer Accounts and General Ledger Accounts - Perform single release activity as assigned by People Leader - Provide orientation/guidance to new joiners on bank policies/procedures - Develop and implement a personal learning plan with team manager - Proactively manage risks and establish/monitor controls - Ensure compliance with internal and external policies, regulatory, and statutory requirements - Undertake periodic self-assessment on key controls - Display exemplary conduct and adhere to the Group's Values and Code of Conduct Qualifications: - Preferably a commerce graduate/postgraduate - Basic product & process knowledge - Effective communication skills About Standard Chartered: Standard Chartered is an international bank committed to making a positive difference for clients, communities, and employees.
