Officer, Quality Assurance

This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with Herbalife requirements and adherence to global procedures in Quality assurance and control during the manufacturing, storage, and transportation of Herbalife raw and packing materials from RM Vendor to Contract manufacturing location in India. The role involves supervising Supplier Quality Assurance for Herbalife raw materials and Packing Material in Bangalore. Key responsibilities include monitoring vendor processes to ensure compliance with Herbalife Quality procedure requirements, conducting audits to maintain quality and hygiene standards, communicating with vendors for any changes impacting quality, handling rejections/complaints, performing Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and Corrective Actions Preventive Actions (CAPA), troubleshooting raw materials and packing materials quality challenges, providing training to vendor teams, collating information for MIS reports, participating in improvement projects, and testing RM and PM. The position reports directly to the Manager, Supplier Quality and requires a Graduation or Post Graduation in Food Technology/Food Science/Pharma/other allied streams. Candidates must have experience in Supplier/Vendor Quality Assurance, be trained in Quality and/or Food Safety Management systems, possess knowledge of Quality control processes, and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential. Applicants should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in the Nutraceutical/Pharma/Food/Ayurveda industry.
