Officer: Projecs (Safety)

Job Summary

HVAX Technologies Ltd is looking for a dedicated Officer – Projects (Safety) to ensure safe working conditions at project sites. The role involves implementing safety policies, monitoring site activities, conducting safety trainings, and ensuring compliance with statutory safety standards while supporting project execution.

Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesSafety Management & Compliance

• Develop, implement, and monitor safety policies, procedures, and safety management plans to minimize workplace risks.
• Enforce company safety policies, procedures, and applicable Safety & Health Regulations and Standards.
• Interpret, apply, and explain relevant safety and environmental laws, codes, and guidelines.
• Execute effective safety, hazard control, and industrial hygiene programs at the workplace.

Site Monitoring & Hazard Control

• Monitor work-in-progress activities to ensure proper use of safety equipment and adherence to safety procedures.
• Conduct hazard analysis and ergonomic risk assessments for public and non-public work areas.
• Evaluate risks and hazards and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Review near-miss incidents and accidents and suggest measures to prevent recurrence.

Incident Management & Reporting

• Administer occupational injury management programs, including Workers’ Compensation processes.
• Prepare detailed incident investigation reports, including root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Prepare narrative reports on incidents affecting project progress and safety performance.

Training & Awareness

• Ensure all employees receive required safety induction, training, and hands-on instruction for safe work practices.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety meetings, and awareness programs at project sites.

Project & Site Administration

• Support project teams in a safety role to ensure smooth and safe project execution.
• Manage site administration related to workplace facilities, stores, food, accommodation, travel, and medical emergencies.
• Follow project execution plans, schedules, manpower planning, and resource allocation.
• Supervise site activities to ensure timely and safe project completion.

Coordination & Communication

• Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, internal departments, and site teams.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and communicate project safety status, milestones, and key updates in the prescribed format.
• Update and share safety-related project progress and performance with Clients and Head Office.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
