Overview:

Titan is a leading manufacturer of watches and wearables, with a strong presence in the Indian market. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Officer - Plating to join our team at our facility in Hosur, Tamil Nadu. This is a full-time position in the Engineering department, and the ideal candidate will have experience in plating processes and a strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the plating process for all watches and wearables produced at the facility
• Ensure that all plating processes are carried out according to company standards and quality requirements
• Monitor and maintain the plating equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance
• Troubleshoot any issues that may arise during the plating process
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient production
• Train and supervise junior plating technicians
• Maintain accurate records of plating processes and materials used
• Implement and maintain safety protocols for the plating department

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in plating processes, preferably in the watch or jewelry industry
• Strong understanding of plating techniques and equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality standards
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures in a manufacturing setting
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed

Additional Parameters:

• Experience with electroplating and PVD processes is preferred
• Knowledge of ISO and other quality management systems is a plus
• Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies is an asset
• Fluency in Tamil is preferred, but not required
