Officer - Operations Accounting Analyst

As a Supply Chain Operations Account Monitoring & Reconciliation Analyst at Citi, your primary responsibility will be to monitor, investigate, and resolve exceptions within SCO-related balance sheet accounts. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate and timely adjustments, collaborating with internal partners, and contributing to process improvements to minimize future exceptions. Your daily tasks will include updating cash and sales books, posting general ledger and accounting entries for an Operations unit, preparing financial reports, and performing proofs of balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy. Additionally, you will maintain statistics on volume variation by product for an operational unit, make evaluative judgments based on analysis of factual information, and resolve issues by identifying and selecting solutions based on acquired technical experience. Communication is key in this role, as you will be required to interact with diverse audiences through the exchange of information in a concise and logical manner. It is essential to appropriately assess risks when making business decisions, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by ensuring compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Ideally, you should have a background in finance or accounting, with a Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification. A Chartered Accountant (CA) certification is preferred for this position.
