The Officer Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) & Quality is responsible for implementing health, safety, and quality assurance policies across the organization. They conduct risk assessments, inspections, and safety audits to identify hazards and recommend corrective actions. They develop and deliver training programs on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and quality standards to staff and contractors. The officer investigates incidents, prepares reports, and monitors compliance with legal and organizational OHS regulations. They oversee the maintenance of safety equipment, ensure proper documentation, and coordinate with regulatory bodies during inspections. The role also involves establishing quality management systems, conducting internal audits, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. They collaborate with various departments to integrate safety and quality practices into operational processes, monitor performance indicators, and implement corrective measures. Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills are necessary to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
