Job Profile:

• To ensure safe, compliant, and incident-free operations during

  evening and night shifts

  , by monitoring plant activities, enforcing safety protocols, and coordinating emergency responses. The role focuses on real-time supervision of high-risk API/chemical operations and maintaining EHS standards round-the-clock.
• To ensure safe plant operations by implementing, monitoring, and continuously improving safety systems, statutory compliance, and risk-prevention measures across the chemical/API manufacturing facility.
• To minimizing accidents, promoting a strong safety culture, and supporting all EHS initiatives at Badlapur site.
• Prepare, Implement & Maintain Policies, Procedures related to Environment, Health and Safety.
• Train and carries out drills and exercises on how to manage the situation.
• Carry out risk assessment, provide and maintain permit to work system.
• Ensure all emergency equipments are operational and ready to use.
• Arrange safety committee meetings and make a report, Prepare a report on MIS.
• Conducting Risk assessment, HAZOP.
• Daily inspects a workplace & sites ensure it is hazarding free environment.
• Investigate Accident/Incident/Near miss and prepare a report.
• Day to day operation & maintenance of ETP and ensure effluent is treated and discharged as per the govt norms.
• Manage hazardous waste arising at site and submission of manifest for disposal.
• Identify training needs and provide trainings to all employees.
• Ensure proper functioning of purified water system and documentation.
• Compliance to all statutory requirements.
• Liaisoning with external govt. agencies (MPCB, Factory inspector).

Desired Profile:

• B.Sc / M.Sc / Diploma in Chemical / PDIS or AIDS with 2+ years of experience in EHS / Safety with Pharma API / Bulk Drugs / Chemicals manufacturing companies.
• PG Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS / DIS) preferred.
• Good knowledge of chemical hazards, industrial safety practices, fire fighting systems.
• Familiar with statutory EHS regulations, SDS, and process safety norms.
• Understanding of chemical hazards, process safety, statutory compliance, and emergency handling.
• Should prepare, Implement and Maintain Policies, Procedures related to Environment, Health and Safety.
• Strong communication, training, and reporting skills.
• Proactive risk identification.
• Ready to work in 2nd and Night shifts regularly
• Strong observation & analytical skills.
• Compliance-driven mind-set.
• Ability to work across teams.
• Crisis & emergency handling.
• Documentation accuracy.
