The Applications Support Analyst 2 role is a developing professional position where you will apply your specialty knowledge to monitor, assess, analyze, and evaluate processes and data. Your responsibilities will include identifying policy gaps, formulating policies, interpreting data, making recommendations, and researching factual information. You will be expected to identify inconsistencies in data, define business issues, and offer recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices. In this role, you will integrate your disciplinary knowledge with a basic understanding of industry practices and collaborate with others to achieve shared objectives within the team. Your impact will be limited to your team. As an Application Support Analyst, you will be responsible for having a strong understanding of application support procedures and concepts, as well as a basic knowledge of other technical areas. Your duties will involve maintaining, identifying, and defining enhancements to existing applications and their operating environments, along with making recommendations for improvements. You will analyze existing system logic, use evaluative judgment to propose enhancements or fixes, and document requirements by formulating and defining scope and objectives for changes. Collaboration with development and production support areas, participation in validation and testing activities, and assessing the applicability of previous experiences will be part of your regular tasks. You will have a direct impact on the business through the quality of services you provide, with effects on your team and closely related teams. Effective communication, concise exchange of ideas and information, and the ability to work under pressure are essential for success in this role. Additionally, you should possess analytical and troubleshooting skills, knowledge of banking applications and server infrastructure, and good interpersonal and communication skills to be a valuable team member.
