Odoo Developer

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customise, and maintain Odoo modules to suit client-specific needs.
• Modify and extend core Odoo functionalities to support unique business processes.
• Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Identify and resolve issues within existing applications.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and QA teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Support data migration, cleansing, and validation activities.
• Ensure solutions adhere to security and Contribute to DevOps pipelines and infrastructure automation where applicable.
• Document technical designs, configurations, and customisation.
• Provide guidance on best practices for Odoo lifecycle management.
• Enhance system performance and ensure scalability of Odoo implementations.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to team knowledge-sharing efforts.
• Stay current with advancements in Odoo development and emerging industry practices.

Preferred Skills

• 3+ years

  of hands-on experience with Odoo ERP (Enterprise preferred)
• Strong knowledge of Odoo ORM, module architecture, and security framework
• Proficiency in Python and PostgreSQL
• Experience in Odoo deployment on cloud or on-premise environments
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Comfortable working in Agile development environments
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate technical ideas clearly

Nice to Have

• Exposure to agentic AI, RPA, or AI-driven process automation
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
