Ocean Freight Forwarding

You are an experienced Freight Forwarder with a strong background in Ocean Transportation Intermediary (OTI) operations, responsible for managing ocean freight shipments and ensuring efficient, timely delivery of goods for clients. You coordinate all aspects of ocean freight logistics, including space booking, documentation, compliance with international trade regulations, and client communication. Your key responsibilities include coordinating goods transportation via ocean freight, managing relationships with stakeholders in the logistics chain, ensuring timely customs clearance, collaborating with clients on shipping needs, monitoring shipments for status updates, and staying updated on industry regulations and changes in international trade. To qualify for this role, you need at least 3 years of experience in similar positions, knowledge of shipping contracts, rates, port operations, and customs procedures, familiarity with international trade regulations and shipping documentation, ability to work under pressure, strong communication and negotiation skills, and proficiency in freight forwarding software.
