Occupational Therapist

Role Overview: You will be a full-time on-site Occupational Therapist at Dr. Shafi's Child Development Centre in Kozhikode. Your main responsibility will be to provide assessments and therapeutic interventions to children with neurodevelopmental challenges. Your daily tasks will include conducting evaluations, creating personalized treatment plans, implementing therapies, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. Additionally, you will empower parents by providing them with the skills and knowledge needed to support their child's development through parent-mediated therapy. Key Responsibilities: - Conduct assessments and evaluations for children with neurodevelopmental challenges - Develop personalized treatment plans based on individual needs - Implement therapeutic interventions to address developmental and behavioral issues - Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for each child - Empower parents by teaching them skills and knowledge for parent-mediated therapy Qualifications Required: - Skills in Occupational Therapy and Rehabilitation - Medical knowledge and experience in Pediatrics - Strong communication skills - Empathy and ability to work closely with children and their families - Relevant certification or degree in Occupational Therapy - Experience working with children with neurodevelopmental challenges is a plus - Ability to work effectively in a team environment - Freshers can also apply,
