Role & responsibilities Health Surveillance and Monitoring: Conduct regular health assessments and screenings for employees and expertise to handle emergencies to handle patients exposed to hazardous materials or environments. Monitor employees for early signs of work-related illnesses or injuries. Maintain accurate and confidential health records. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Collaborate with safety teams to identify workplace hazards and implement preventive measures in co-ordination with head of department. Participate in risk assessments and provide health-related input to improve workplace safety. First Aid and Emergency Response: Provide immediate medical care for workplace injuries and emergencies. Manage first aid kits and medical supplies to ensure readiness. Health Education and Training: As a team co-ordinate the activities for conducting training sessions on occupational health and safety, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Educate employees on the health risks associated with hazardous materials and proper handling techniques. Policy Development and Compliance: Assist in developing and implementing health and safety policies in line with legal and regulatory requirements. Ensure compliance with occupational health standards and guidelines. Rehabilitation and Return-to-Work Programs: Support employees in recovery and reintegration after workplace injuries or illnesses. Coordinate with supervisors and HR for modified work plans if needed. Collaboration with External Agencies: Work with team of company doctors in Liaise with occupational health specialists, environmental health agencies, and local medical services as required. Recordkeeping and Reporting: Maintain detailed reports on workplace injuries, illnesses, and health trends. Prepare reports for management on occupational health performance and compliance. 9. Support for Female Workforce: Provide counseling and support for female employees on health-related issues, including mental health and stress management. Advocate for safe and inclusive working conditions, addressing concerns like harassment or unequal access to facilities. Data Analysis and Excel sheet knowledge: Medicine inventory preparation and management Periodic medical examination digital record keeping process Computer operations regarding information sharing on mail and data analysis work.
