OBP Techno- Functional

Roles & Responsibilities :

• Engage with business users to gather and analyze requirements for payment processing.
• Design and configure payment products and services in OBP:
• Domestic and International Payments
• SEPA, SWIFT MT/ISO 20022
• Real-Time Payments (RTP), RTGS, ACH
• Perform gap analysis and align OBP functionality with client-specific payment flows.
• Define business rules, payment routing, charge handling, and exception processing.
• Support functional testing, UAT, and end-user training.
• Develop and enhance OBP interfaces with Core Banking (e.g., FLEXCUBE), digital channels (e.g., OBDX), and third-party systems (e.g., SWIFT gateways, fraud systems).
• Configure and support OBP workflows, business rules, validations, and screen customizations.
• Work on integration using

  SOAP/REST APIs

  ,

  Oracle SOA Suite

  , or

  OSB

  .
• Participate in release planning, deployments, and post-go-live support.
• 510 years of experience in banking IT or consulting.
• Minimum

  2+ years of experience with Oracle Banking Payments (OBP)

  .
• Good understanding of end-to-end payment lifecycle and messaging formats:
• SWIFT MT103/202, ISO 20022 (pain, pacs, camt), SEPA
• RTP, RTGS, ACH clearing systems

Proficiency in:

• Java / J2EE

• Oracle PL/SQL

  ,

  Oracle DB

• Web Services (SOAP/REST)

  ,

  XML

  ,

  XSD

• OBP customization framework

• Strong knowledge of OBP architecture, product configuration, and deployment structure.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables and vice versa.
• Experience with

  Oracle FLEXCUBE

  ,

  OBDX

  or other Oracle Banking products.
• Knowledge of payment regulatory standards (PSD2, FATF, AML, ISO 20022 migration).
