Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy

    OBIEE

    reports, dashboards, and scorecards based on business requirements.
  • Develop and maintain OBIEE repository (RPD) including metadata modeling, subject areas, and hierarchies.
  • Collaborate with business users and analysts to gather and refine reporting requirements.
  • Optimize OBIEE reports and dashboards for performance and usability.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to OBIEE reports, data sources, and security.
  • Implement data security and access controls within the OBIEE environment.
  • Work with ETL teams to ensure proper data availability and integrity.
  • Develop documentation for reports, dashboards, and metadata.
  • Participate in system upgrades, patching, and migration activities.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience with

    Oracle OBIEE (11g, 12c)

    .
  • Strong expertise in OBIEE repository development (RPD), including physical, logical, and presentation layer design.
  • Experience in building interactive dashboards and reports using

    Answers and Dashboards

    .
  • Proficient with SQL and database concepts (Oracle DB preferred).
  • Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and dimensional modeling.
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle BI Publisher and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI).
  • Familiarity with scripting languages like

    Perl

    ,

    Shell

    , or

    Python

    for automation.
  • Knowledge of OBIEE migration and patching processes.
  • Exposure to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) BI services.
  • Understanding of Agile development methodologies.
