Job Summary

We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Nursing Tutor to join our esteemed institution, AHS Nursing College & Hospital. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality theoretical and practical nursing education to students while also delivering patient care as a staff nurse in our hospital. This dual-role position is ideal for a passionate professional who thrives in both academic and clinical environments.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nursing Tutor / Lecturer:

  • Prepare and deliver lectures, demonstrations, and practical sessions to nursing students.
  • Develop and update curriculum and teaching materials in line with INC guidelines and institutional standards.
  • Supervise clinical postings and guide students during hospital-based practical training.
  • Assess student performance through exams, assignments, and practical evaluations.
  • Provide academic counseling and mentorship to students.
  • Participate in academic meetings, workshops, and faculty development programs.
  • Assist in organizing seminars, conferences, and community health outreach programs.

As a Staff Nurse:

  • Provide direct patient care in assigned hospital units as per the duty roster.
  • Monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and maintain accurate clinical records.
  • Collaborate with doctors and healthcare team members for effective treatment plans.
  • Ensure adherence to hospital protocols, infection control measures, and patient safety standards.
  • Serve as a role model of ethical and professional behavior for students during clinical duties.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • B.Sc. Nursing or M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
  • Must be registered with the State Nursing Council.
  • Minimum 1–2 years of teaching or clinical experience (preferably both).
  • Excellent knowledge of nursing subjects and clinical practices.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills.
  • Ability to balance academic and clinical responsibilities efficiently.

Desirable Attributes

  • Passion for teaching and commitment to the nursing profession.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts as required by hospital and college schedules.
  • Familiarity with modern teaching methods and digital tools.
  • Enthusiastic team player with leadership capabilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
