Nursing Instructor

As a Nurse Educator, your role involves providing education and evaluation to nursing and care taker staff, along with facilitating evidenced-based research within a specialized area of nursing. You will collaborate with medical practitioners to integrate nursing processes into the plan of care for a specialized group of patients. Additionally, you will deliver direct specialty nursing services to patients while ensuring adherence to nursing clinical standards, processes, and guidelines. Your responsibilities will include offering educational leadership to nursing and care takers to enhance specialized patient care within an established healthcare setting. You will assist patients and caregivers with educational needs, problem resolution, and health management across the continuum of care. Developing patient care plans based on evidenced-based research and national standards will be crucial, and you will consult with and serve as a resource to ensure quality patient care. Initiating skills development programs within established care models, monitoring trends, and implementing educational strategies to ensure compliance with quality standards will be part of your duties. You will educate technical and patient care staff on the use of new equipment, supplies, and instruments, coordinating in-service training and workshops for appropriate staff. Additionally, you will be responsible for ensuring proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and supplies, while promoting continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices. Your qualifications for this role include a BSc in Nursing or MSc in Nursing, along with 5-10 years of relevant experience. Strong communication skills are essential for explaining complex medical and scientific concepts in an easily understandable manner and providing written feedback on nurses and care takers.
