Nursing Assistant

Job Title: Nursing Assistant (CNA - Certified Nursing Assistant)Job Summary:

The Nursing Assistant provides essential support to nursing staff in the care of patients. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, monitoring patient health, and ensuring a clean and safe environment. This role is key to delivering compassionate, high-quality care to patients in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home care settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with personal hygiene such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help patients with mobility by repositioning, turning, or transferring them between beds and wheelchairs.
• Take and record vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration.
• Report any changes in patient health or behavior to nursing staff.
• Assist with feeding patients and ensuring proper nutrition and hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to patients.
• Document care provided and follow care plans as directed by nursing or medical staff.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of a nurse.

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED.
• Completion of a state-approved CNA training program.
• Current CNA certification and registration (state-specific).
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and observational skills.
• Ability to work under supervision and as part of a team.

Work Environment:

• Long-term care facilities, hospitals, rehabilitation centers, or home healthcare.
• Requires physical activity such as standing, lifting, and bending.
• Shift work including nights, weekends, and holidays may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
