Junior Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in dispensing prescription and over-the-counter (OTC) medications accurately and efficiently.
• Review prescriptions for accuracy and legality, escalating issues when necessary.
• Provide basic drug information and counseling to patients under supervision.
• Ensure proper storage and labeling of pharmaceuticals.
• Assist in managing stock levels, placing orders, and checking for expired products.
• Maintain patient records and confidentiality in accordance with data protection laws.
• Support senior pharmacists in clinical and administrative tasks.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and health & safety guidelines.
• Participate in continuous professional development and training programs.

Requirements:

Education & Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (BPharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD)
• Registered or in the process of registering with [insert national pharmacy board/regulatory authority]

Skills:

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
