Position Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and professional Security Officer to join our team. The Security Officer will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, employees, and visitors. This role involves monitoring surveillance equipment, patrolling the facility, and responding to incidents or emergencies as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Patrol and Monitor: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to detect and address any security risks or safety hazards.
• Access Control: Monitor and control access to buildings and restricted areas, ensuring that only authorized personnel enter.
• Surveillance: Operate security systems, including cameras and alarms, to detect suspicious activity and ensure constant surveillance of the premises.
• Incident Response: Respond to emergencies, such as fire alarms, medical emergencies, and security breaches. Report incidents to the appropriate authorities and assist with investigations when necessary.
• Customer Service: Provide assistance to employees and visitors by offering directions, answering questions, and ensuring a positive environment.
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches. Prepare incident reports as required.
• Enforcement: Enforce building policies, rules, and regulations in a professional manner, ensuring compliance.
• Collaboration: Work closely with other team members, law enforcement, and emergency responders when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional security training or certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred.
• Skills:
• Strong observational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to remain calm in stressful situations and handle emergencies effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Familiarity with security systems and equipment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
