Job Summary

The Nursing Assistant supports nursing staff in providing safe, compassionate, and efficient patient care. The role involves assisting patients with daily activities, maintaining hygiene standards, ensuring comfort, and supporting clinical tasks under supervision.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility.
• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure) as instructed.
• Support nursing staff in patient positioning, transferring, and transporting.
• Maintain patient rooms, beds, and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
• Assist in maintaining inventory of linen, supplies, and equipment.
• Ensure timely communication of patient needs and abnormalities to the nurse.
• Support in preparing patients for procedures and examinations.
• Follow infection control, safety, and hospital policies at all times.
• Provide emotional support and ensure a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications

• ANM
• Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant certification preferred.
• Basic knowledge of patient care practices.

Skills & Competencies

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.
• Compassionate, patient, and responsible.
• Basic understanding of hygiene and infection control.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Fresher

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
