Nursery Teacher

As a Nursery Teacher, you will play a crucial role in the lives of young children by developing and delivering a developmentally appropriate curriculum, creating a joyful and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborating with families to support each child's growth and success. Your responsibilities will include: - Designing & Delivering Lessons: Plan and implement fun, meaningful, and age-appropriate lessons that align with early learning standards and promote holistic development. - Managing Classroom Environment: Build a safe, welcoming, and structured space that supports children's social, emotional, and cognitive growth. - Engaging & Inspiring: Use interactive teaching methods such as storytelling, play, arts, and group activities to engage students. - Monitoring Progress: Regularly observe and assess children's development, adapting teaching to meet diverse learning needs. - Supporting Individual Needs: Recognize and address unique challenges, providing tailored support to help every child thrive. - Communicating with Families: Maintain ongoing, transparent communication with parents and guardians about their child's progress and classroom happenings. - Collaborating with Team: Work closely with colleagues and leadership to share best practices and contribute to a positive school culture. - Maintaining Classroom Resources: Organize and care for learning materials, ensuring the classroom remains inviting and orderly. - Ensuring Safety: Follow all safety protocols and emergency procedures to create a secure learning environment. Qualifications required for this role include: - Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or related field - Experience working with young children, preferably in a classroom or preschool setting - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Creativity and enthusiasm for developing engaging learning experiences - Patience, kindness, and a genuine passion for early childhood education - Comfort with using educational technologies and digital resources Please note that this is a full-time, permanent position with the preferred language of work being English.
