- Provide comprehensive prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care to expectant mothers, ensuring a safe and healthy childbirth experience - Conduct thorough assessments of maternal and fetal health, identifying any potential complications and addressing them promptly - Offer education and counseling to women and families on pregnancy, childbirth, and newborn care, promoting informed decision-making - Collaborate with obstetricians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans - Assist in labor and delivery, utilizing both natural and medical techniques to support a positive birth experience - Manage emergency situations with calmness and expertise, ensuring the safety of both mother and child - Maintain detailed and accurate records of patient interactions, treatments, and outcomes for continuity of care

Required Qualifications

- Current and valid certification as a Nurse Midwife - Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing or Midwifery from an accredited institution - Proven experience in midwifery, with a strong foundation in maternal and fetal health - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with patients and families - Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain calm under pressure - Commitment to ongoing professional development and staying current with the latest advancements in midwifery practices
