Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Midwife at MIMS College of Nursing, Nellimarla, located in Kolkata. The Nurse Midwife will be responsible for providing comprehensive maternity care, including family planning services and midwifery support. Day-to-day tasks will involve monitoring the health of mothers and babies, conducting deliveries, administering medication, and offering prenatal and postnatal care. The Nurse Midwife will also educate patients and families on health practices and provide support throughout the childbirth process.

Qualifications

• Expertise in Family Planning, Maternity, and Midwifery skills
• Proficiency in Medicine and Nursing
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Prior experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing or a related field, with a valid nursing license
• Empathy, compassion, and dedication to patient care
