Summary

To ensure smooth timely and accurate processing of new account openings for customers, while adhering to regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and delivering responses within TAT. The executive will also be responsible for correct rework updating & providing solutions to close the reworks as well

Key Responsibilities

• Document Verification:

• Review and verify KYC documents (ID proof, address proof, income proof, etc.) for authenticity and completeness.
• Validate signatures, photographs, and other mandatory details.
• Check for discrepancies and fraudulent documents using internal and external tools.

• Compliance & Regulatory Adherence:

• Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, AML/CFT norms, and bank policies.
• Maintain proper documentation and audit trails for all verified cases.

• Coordination & Escalation:

• Liaise with branches, account opening teams, and risk units for clarifications.
• Escalate suspicious or non-compliant cases to the compliance team promptly.

• System Updates:

• Update verification status in the core banking system accurately.
• Maintain MIS reports for daily, weekly, and monthly verification activities.

• Quality & TAT Management:

• Ensure verification within defined turnaround time (TAT).
• Maintain high accuracy levels to avoid operational risks.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of KYC norms, banking regulations, and fraud detection techniques.
• Familiarity with document verification tools and core banking systems.
• Good communication and coordination skills.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in any discipline (Commerce or Law preferred).
• Prior experience in NRI banking Account opening operations, or document verification is critical
