Job_Description":" Role Overview As an NPI Project Engineer \u2013 Mechanical , you will be responsible for executing mechanical changes across the vehicle platform\u2014from frame, castings, body panels, fasteners and brackets. You will ensure all design updates are reviewed, validated, and implemented smoothly into the factory environment. Key Responsibilities Manage implementation of mechanical design changes (e.g., frame modifications, component mounting changes) in the plant. Validate 2D/3D CAD drawings, GD&T, and tolerance stack-ups for manufacturability and assembly. Collaborate with tooling and fixture teams to update jigs and assembly processes. Conduct line trials and build validations to ensure fit/form/function of new parts. Track and close ECNs for mechanical parts; ensure process documentation is current. Drive DFM feedback loops to engineering for cost, quality, and ease of assembly. Work closely with quality, procurement, and logistics to manage cut-in of new parts. Requirements Qualifications & Skills B.E. or B.Tech in Mechanical / Automotive / Production Engineering. 2-4 years of experience in manufacturing or engineering discipline Understanding of fabrication, machining, casting, and sheet metal processes. Experience with CAD software (SolidWorks, CATIA, NX) and PLM systems. Familiarity with APQP, FMEA, and root cause analysis tools (8D, Ishikawa). Practical exposure to pilot builds or production ramp-up is a plus. ","
