NPD (New Product Development) Engineer

As a New Product Development Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and executing projects to bring new products from concept to commercialization. You will collaborate with design, production, and quality teams to create innovative rubber sealing solutions. Conducting feasibility analysis, preparing technical documentation, and developing prototypes will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you will validate performance, ensure compliance with client requirements, and coordinate with vendors and customers for feedback. Your expertise in rubber material properties and manufacturing processes will be crucial, along with hands-on experience in CAD software such as AutoCAD and SolidWorks. Having a problem-solving attitude focused on innovation and quality, you will identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities during product development. Managing multiple projects and deadlines, maintaining development records, and supporting cross-functional teams during pilot production and testing phases are essential responsibilities. To excel in this role, you should hold a B.E. / B.Tech degree in Mechanical, Polymer, Rubber Technology, or a related field. Reporting to the NPD Manager or Technical Head, you will bring at least 5 years of experience to the Engineering / R&D department. Good communication and documentation skills will further enhance your ability to succeed in this dynamic and challenging position.,
