Role & responsibilities We are looking for a detail-oriented and process-driven Quality Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining quality assurance processes for sheet metal and canopy assemblies, ensuring that products meet required standards before dispatch. Preferred candidate profile Conduct in-process and final inspections of fabricated and assembled components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and quality plans. Develop and implement quality inspection procedures and checklists. Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and customer-specific requirements. Manage non-conformance reports (NCRs) and initiate corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Maintain records of inspection and test results. Use measuring instruments such as Vernier calipers, micrometers, height gauges, etc. Assist in audits (internal and external) and documentation as per ISO 9001 standards. Provide feedback to production and assembly teams to improve product quality. Liaise with customers during inspections and quality-related discussions. Required Skills & Qualifications: Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering. 35 years of experience in a fabrication or OEM supply environment, especially with sheet metal products. Knowledge of welding, powder coating, and canopy assembly quality checkpoints. Proficient in the use of standard measuring and inspection tools. Familiarity with ISO 9001, 5S, and quality documentation practices. Strong attention to detail and documentation discipline. Good communication and reporting skills.

Role & responsibilities Supervise and coordinate day-to-day assembly operations on the shop floor. Ensure that assembly processes follow design specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. Allocate manpower efficiently to meet daily production schedules. Review and interpret fabrication drawings and ensure accurate assembly. Conduct in-process quality checks and coordinate with QA for final inspection. Ensure adherence to safety, 5S, and lean manufacturing practices. Train and mentor operators and technicians in assembly techniques and tools. Coordinate with planning, welding, powder coating, and dispatch teams for workflow continuity. Report production data, downtime, and issues to production management. Preferred candidate profile ITI / Diploma / Degree in Mechanical or Production Engineering. 35 years of supervisory experience in assembly, preferably in canopy or enclosure fabrication. Strong understanding of sheet metal components, fasteners, gaskets, locks, hinges, wiring support, etc. Ability to read mechanical drawings and BOMs. Working knowledge of hand tools, pneumatic tools, and measurement instruments. Good communication and leadership skills. Exposure to lean practices, Kaizen, or ISO 9001 systems is preferred.
